Maybe the Vintologi bible should be placed on a wiki

That would make it a lot easier to track changes, which in turn would make it easier to update translations and whatnot. (It's going to need to be translated into all the world's major tongues for prestige purposes, if nothing else, I assume)

Plus a wiki makes the formatting easy, and you can always just print it to a PDF anyway. A nice PDF should also have page numbers, btw. And if the book is divided into chapters, there should be a table of contents, and running heads at the top. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Page_header

Well, if you're going to release each version of the Vintologi Bible with a version number, then I guess it's not too hard to just do a translation of a particular version. If you track changes in that ODT document, then it will be possible to more easily see what changed from one version to the next.

It's inevitable that in this day and age, a religion that attracts enough members and gets taken seriously enough will eventually have a wiki. https://www.mormonwiki.com/ (Kinda funny, Mormons have been told by their President to quit calling themselves Mormons and instead use the full name Latter-day Saints, but they still haven't changed the name of the wiki)

A wiki only takes about an hour to set up, once you know what you're doing (which, by this point, I do anyway).

We can try it sometime as an experiment, or I can put the manifesto on Francels.com and give you credentials to take a look at it.

One benefit of using a wiki is that it will, e.g., auto-number your references; I don't know if you are having to re-number every time you add or delete a reference but if so, that sounds like a hassle.

Yeah, I started the process of wikification, but the main stumbling block is that MediaWiki's features for handling images are kinda primitive. They're great if you just wanna do something like have thumbnails on the side of an article, or have a gallery. Maybe not so great if you want to put images wherever the hell you like (e.g. put two right next to each other, and have them right up next to the text, like on page 1).

Actually, that might be the only place it's an issue, and even that might not matter if the images were to be cropped so as to be the same height (more details in my PM).
