Back in, e.g., the early 2000s, a digital camera was a fragile and expensive device that probably one wouldn't just leave in the hands of kids. The early ones could also be kinda challenging to figure out how to operate.
These days, probably even a five-year-old can figure out how to use a cameraphone, and probably he has access to one. So one wonders, how much CP traded these days was created and distributed by a kid? I mean, before YouTube shoahed so many of their vids of kids dancing and doing yoga and brushing their hair in their underwear and whatnot, it was evident that they were creating and posting a lot of these vids themselves. Wouldn't surprise me if it was the same way with CP, especially if they found they could get a lot of attention that way.
I remember being a kid and realizing that it was provocative to go around flashing my junk to my older sister, so I just used to do that to troll her for awhile. Likewise, I would be curious about those parts and try to ask questions, but in modern times, I might have just turned to the Internet. Also, sometimes just to be silly I might expose myself, kind of like all the other sorts of off-the-wall stuff kids do just to be goofy and play around.
Anyway, there were some pics being traded around Discord where there was a blonde girl lying on a motorcycle spreading her legs for the camera in different poses. Like basically she was lying on her side and putting her leg in the air. Aside from the question of what was going through her mind (e.g. did she know anything about sex, or about men's interest in sex, or about how they get turned on by such poses), I also have to wonder, who was taking the photos? Was it an adult, or another kid, or was the kid setting a timer to take pics of herself? If it was her or another kid doing it, was there an adult who had put them up to it or given them the idea, or did they do it on their own initiative?
Another thing I remember from childhood is just liking to do stuff with other kids because it was against the rules. E.g. trying to get them to pull down their pants, or put their hands in another kid's pants, just to get them to do something naughty. When the babysitter wasn't looking, I would try to put ideas in their heads to do that stuff, just because I wanted to instigate trouble or a breaking of the rules, or whatever. Sometimes they did what I suggested, sometimes not. But I would be egging them on. One of them was a girl maybe my age or a little younger, and the other was a boy some years younger, and I'd try to get them to touch each other. This was before I knew what sex was, I think, because I didn't learn about that till I was 10, and by then I probably wasn't spending a lot of time at babysitters, but rather had become a latchkey kid.
Anyhoo. I filed a motion with the court recently, and mentioned that kids like to play silly games, but I forgot to mention that a lot of times, these days kids are probably the ones taking the pics themselves, or it's a friend of the kid who's the same age, rather than an adult who allegedly has some power imbalance with them.
