Is there any point to accomplishing anything, given that the past can't be proven?

CMV: There is no way to prove with 100% certainty that the past occurred. The universe could have came into existence minutes ago with the appearance and fake evidence of being old or maybe it is a simulation with a fake past. There is no way to assess the probability of the past being fake either because any probability for or against it would just be based upon fake evidence. There is even a term called Last Thirsdayism which although created as a parody cannot be disproven.

If we accomplish something in life it instantly becomes part of the past and no longer can be proved that it happened. Even in the midst of an experience such as watching a baseball game by the middle of the game you can't prove the first half of the game happened as it is in the past. Descartes's Demon could have just created the universe a minute ago.

To achieve success requires massive amounts of hard work and struggle and if there is not 100% certainty it will be proved to have happened in the future the nagging doubt of the provability of the past will cause suffering and loss of motivation to accomplish anything. The realization of this inprovablitiy would collapse the economy as people would realize the past and all their acheivements is just a concept and might not have happened. The future is pointless too as those are just future pasts which will become unprovable after they are done. Everything we do becomes the past and when it is in the past it cannot be proven.

I cannot even prove with 100% certainty I wrote this as it will be in the past and then just a present moment idea that could have been implanted into my mind by a deceitful force like Descartes's demon.

As usual the mods deleted the tread for "You must personally hold the view and demonstrate that you are open to it changing" well they didn't do a good job arguing against the proposition and, they reached the point where it became clear the theory was wrong.

Universe being created 5 minutes ago violate the laws of physics we observed since that supposed creation, GPS wouldn't function if relativity were significantly different than what we think it is.

There is however another possibility regarding consciousness, maybe you incarnated to your body 5 minutes ago and memories before that is from a different "soul" (unclear what a soul would even be).

1. You had a particular brain-structure in the past and thus a new sufficiently similar structure will mean a continuation of your conscious experienhce.
2. The path your free will takes in spacetime.
