PSN ruined helldiver and stellar blade

Sony did end up backtracking in the case of Helldirvers 2 but psn account requirement will still be added to new titles you can play online. Sony reallly wants to push people into their ecosystem.

Makes sense for an anti-consumer company like sony (not that microsoft is much better) to be interested in the live service model.
Then even if you do play it on PC they can still basically nuke the entire game and it will be very hard for the community to save the game after that if no tools are provided for them.
